Fridge Filter Ultra 10" x 2.5" USA

When my wife & I lived in Tasmania we had to drink rainwater collected from our roof as there was no town water supply. With bird droppings on the roof, ash from fireplaces & dust & dirt, all of our water passed thru these contaminants unfiltered & we drank the water for several years. Then one day my wife & I got a gastro-intestinal bug when there was a giardia bug going around the community. We were both in bed sick for days & unable to eat. After that I bought this filter, attached it to the fridge & we only drank filtered water from our fridge until the day we sold the house. Never drank the tank water direct from the tap again & nor did we ever get sick again.
We then moved to Nowra NSW south of Sydney. The water is so heavily chlorinated in this shire it smells and tastes like swimming pool water. We couldn't even drink a cup of tea without feeling sick and the taste of the chlorine was revolting. So once again in Aug 2019 I ordered this filter [2 this time so I have a replacement spare next year] and we ONLY drink water from the fridge filter. Every glass of water now is crystal clear, tasteless & there is no chlorine stench. For us this filter is absolutely essential to our daily life.

Replaced the standard manufactures filter with this one and the smell and taste of chlorine from the chilled water has gone. Wish I'd known about this filter years ago!
